The Dutch Music Award
The Nederlandse Muziekprijs (Dutch Music Award) is the highest accolade that can be awarded by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) to a musician working in the field of classical music. The prize is awarded upon recommendation by the Advisory Committee Dutch Music Award, which is hosted by the Performing Arts Fund.

The Matthijs Vermeulen Award
The Matthijs Vermeulen Prize is the most important Dutch composition prize, named after the symphonic composer Matthijs Vermeulen, who died in 1967. The prize is awarded by the Performing Arts Fund once every two years to a Dutch composer who, according to the jury, has composed an important piece in the field of contemporary music.
