In June 2025, three festivals will welcome international guests from the performing arts world. They will participate in visitors’ programmes supported by the Performing Arts Fund NL, with funding provided through the International Cultural Policy of the Ministries of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) and Foreign Affairs.
These visitors’ programmes contribute to enhancing the profile of Dutch performing arts at the international level. Foreign programmers, producers and other professionals will enjoy a multi-day programme of performances, networking events and meetings with Dutch performers and companies. The emphasis is on artistic encounter and building long-term contacts.

Festivals with visitors’ programmes in June:
Oranjewoud festival and Oerol (12-15 June)
From 12-15 June, the Fund is offering a combined international visitors’ programme in collaboration with Oranjewoud Festival and Oerol. In the unique setting of these two Frisian festivals, programmers from neighbouring countries will discover a wide range of Dutch makers and ensembles from the worlds of classical and contemporary music, with a special emphasis on site-specific music.
Music Meeting: Nijmegen (7-9 June)
From 7-9 June, ten international programmers will attend the Music Meeting Nijmegen (MMN) to discover new Dutch offerings in global (world music) and jazz. With visitors from nine different countries, this visitors’ programme is jointly sponsored by Music Meeting Nijmegen and the Performing Arts Fund NL.
