As a participant in the networking trip, you will visit (international) performances at the festival and meet international dance and theatre professionals and programmers. You are also expected to submit a written evaluation of your visit afterwards. This programme is organised collaboratively by Festival Santarcangelo, the Dutch Embassy and Consulate-General in Italy, and the Performing Arts Fund NL.

We are seeking candidates who: 

• Are a choreographer, dance maker, performance maker or theatre maker, with international ambitions;  
  
• Have produces between 5 and 15 productions
  
• Live and work in the Netherlands or in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands; 
  
• Can participate in the networking trip for the full duration of five days ( (9 to 13 July 2025).*
  

Candidates requiring assistance on account of an impairment are warmly invited to respond.

*If you cannot participate for the full period, then you are excluded from participation.

• A programme that includes visiting performances and meeting programmers, festival directors and other makers;
  
• A travel expenses reimbursement from your place of residence in the Netherlands or the Caribbean part of the Kingdom to Santarcangelo and home again. The reimbursement is only for economy flights and/or 2nd class train tickets. The journeys must be booked and paid for up front by the participants.
  
• A four-night stay in Santarcangelo;
  
• An allowance for meals for five days; 
  
• Tickets to performances;
  

Please note: it is possible to extend your stay, but you must organise and pay for this yourself.

We will select eight participants at most. The selection committee, which includes the director of Festival Santarcangelo, will assess the applications with a view to the connection to the international festival, and will also aim to achieve a balanced group composition. Applicants will receive the outcome within 2 weeks of the application deadline.
